As more Shopify merchants expand globally, we’ve seen a common challenge: tracking setups can quickly become messy when different markets share the same configurations. Previously, all tracking was managed per channel (separate Google Ads, GTM, and GA4 tabs), which made regional management a bit of a headache.

That’s why we’ve completely rebuilt the way tracking works.
TrakPilot is officially moving to a market-centric tracking model. Instead of managing tracking separately across various tabs, you can now manage everything through the lens of your Shopify Markets.
Each individual market can now have its own dedicated:
✅ Google Ads account
✅ GA4 property (including Server-side tracking)
✅ GTM container
✅ Remarketing setup

How it Works: Inherit or Override
We designed this with a "Smart Defaults" principle. Every new market you add automatically inherits your app's global tracking configuration out of the box. If a specific region - like your European or North American market - requires a dedicated Google Ads account for a local campaign, you can override individual channels for that market without affecting any others.
Cleaner, More Accurate Data
Keep customer behavior separated by country or region. By assigning dedicated properties to specific markets, you ensure your analytics stay clean and accurately attributed.
Better Optimization for Google Ads
As Google increasingly relies on AI signals, data quality is everything. TrakPilot allows you to use separate Conversion Actions per market, ensuring your bidding strategies are fed the most relevant local data.
Automatic Duplicate Prevention
Worried about double-counting? If a market shares the same GA4 property or GTM container as your Global setup, TrakPilot automatically locks the event configuration to match, preventing duplicate data from ever hitting your reports.
Flexible Setup
Want to keep it simple? No problem! You can still manage your entire store under one global setup if that works best for your business.
